Since June 2008 it is also possible to join visarte as a newcomer. These members initially meet only a part of the criteria for active members, but within three years of their admission must then prove that they all meet them.
The competent committee decides on the admission of active members. The application for membership can be submitted at any time to the Directorate of Visarte Schweiz using the application form and an artistic biography.
Newcomer members are entitled to legal advice at preferential rates, an AIAP card and receive the magazine “Art Suisse” and the bulletin “Info Bulletin”.
As Visarte-Ticino the project has just began and aspiring “newcomer members” can find out by reading the admission criteria and filling out the application form.
